My client is a small start up company based in the heart of Dresden looking to go through a significant period of expansion in the new year. To aid the developement process they are looking for an experienced embedded software developer to assist them in developing a bluetooth system linked to a smoke detector. Currently the system is responsible for various functions such as bluetooth communication and power consumption measurement. This revolutionary device is looking to be first to the market and is an opportunity that can't be missed for developers who see learning as their passion.Requirements:
• Fluent in embedded C language
• Understand bluetooth communication
• Experienced in MCU
• Practical experience with bluetooth protocol stack
• Experience with sensor integration
• BSc. in Computer Science or similar
• MSc or PhD preferred
• English speaking is a must
Responsibilities:
• Develop simple, elegant, tested, and maintainable solutions
• Contribute to system architecture and development for new product initiatives and feature development
• Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions
• Work in a flexible and supportive environment to deliver high quality software
• Ensure quality of software using appropriate methods (Code Review, Static Analysis, Unit Test etc.) and application of suitable Coding Standards
• Effectively engage in team work and show good communication skills both written and verbal
