Data Visualisation Specialist
My client has a requirement for an experienced Data Visualisation specialist to join their project.
The position will be responsible for developing visualizations for the vulnerability and remediation management teams. They will work with the team to design story driven dashboards, simplify complex information, and create automation in visualization related processes.
Position Description
The qualified candidate will possess a working knowledge of data visualization technologies, data ingestion and normalization techniques, and user experience design; utilizing that knowledge they will develop and maintain reporting methods, such as dashboard, to provide key metrics and trending information across a diverse group of groups and functions in support of the vulnerability management program. The individual must have some knowledge of security practices along with excellent communications and time management skills
This is a hands-on role that involves understanding vulnerability data and building an index of KPI's to support ongoing business-related initiatives. The position will work other team members to analyze vulnerability data and assist in the visualization of critical data.
Critical Skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience developing easily understood visualization from complex datasets
- Experience with SQL Queries, normalizing data, and integrating multiple datasets into a single data record
- Experience working with ETL toolsets.
- Experience with PostGRES, MSSQL, MySQL database technologies
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must.
- Perform data validation and quality control checks to ensure adherence to risk management and IT requirements.
