SAP EHS Functional Consultant

• Preparation of documents in aspect of EHS policy and compliances. • • Apply systems development methodology to install, modify, maintain, test and document application software. • Functional support in SAP EHS solutions in the areas of Incident management, Phrase Management, Product Safety, Substance Volume Tracking, Dangerous goods management, Hazardous substances management, Global Label Management, WWI and Waste management. • Train end-users in the proper use of SAP functionality to ease their working procedure. • Modify, test, and validate systemconfiguration. • Generating accident/incident report along with the detail incident investigation by using SAP product. •To carry out root cause analysis of recurring issues and coordinate with project/development teams for necessary corrections. • Configuring the master data for the various components of SAP EHS. • Conducting the risk assessment along with the appropriate safety measures physically and by using Industrial Hygiene component. • Coordinate with other system analysts and department leads when changes have cross functional impact. • Troubleshoot problems with the SAP system, interact with external SAP support groups to find solutions, and oversee the testing and

* Interacting with client & internal team for fulfilling the legal requirement.
* Create, lead and maintain site's HSSE programs, develop and Implement
new initiatives to improve EHS performance.
* Drafting of reports for management detailing safety compliance and daily
observations.
* Being the active member of team during the implementation of SAP
system in the organization.
* Creating, Updating and collecting all records and documents which is
relevant to EHS.
* Verification of final blue prints and initial ( As- If & To-be)documents
required for the implementation of SAP for smooth flow of business.
* Coordinating with the SHE team members for collecting the data as per
the SAP component requirement.
* Working on different modules and their configuration in SAP EHS.

* Analyzing risks at the premises and adding safe work procedure
* Conducting drills and training mock drill, emergency drill, fire drill and
safety trainings for the employees.
* Carrying out safety audits and inspection of various types of cranes,
equipment and tools & tackles with TPI certification.
* Working along with the site team and fulfilling their demands on HSE
aspects.
* Conducting training for the employees first aid training, emergency
response training etc.
* Organizing periodical inspection/audits to verify non-compliance and to
ensure safe work practices.
* Carrying out detailed accident investigations by using 5-WHY
methodology that involve a cross-functional team to determine root
cause and corrective actions that reduces or eliminates recurrence of
incident.
