Key Result Areas:
- Leading a team of 14 direct members (TLs) and over 25 indirect members for managing CoE for Informatica / ETL Projects along with directing multiple large-scale IT Functional Support Projects like SAP / ABAP / Web Portal for reputed clients
- Directing entire facets of activities of Project Lifecycle Management involving system analysis, requirement gathering, design, development, functional testing, service delivery and post implementation support
- Extensively working on ETL Methodology for Data Transmission using Informatica Application (10.x) and ITSM
- Liaising with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Business Users & clients to identify and develop Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- Creating customer requirement specification documents (detailed use cases and process flow diagrams) to identify the specific client needs and transforming the same in technical features
- Identifying a product requirement that includes business, user specific, security & performance requirements
- Recognizing the impacts across the product with the new changes that we are trying to bring in for individual client or product
- Performing several technical activities entailing:
- Improving entire data warehouse ground up, working on architecting, ETL, administering data warehouse, mapping data from legacy system, constituting click stream, financial and various business data mart
- Designing and implementing ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked
- Managing and creating SQL / ETL Scripts for end-to-end data transformation & improvement activity
- Architecting and implementing analytics and visualization components for data analysis to predict relevant solutions
- Removing performance bottlenecks & integration problems in core infrastructure for databases and applications
- Providing application development, maintenance, enhancement and post-implementation support to the client
- Supporting SAP landscapes with goal of providing excellent system reliability, performance, availability and overall systems optimization and best customer satisfaction in a customized onshore & offshore environment for Global Customers
- Executing problem management process involving complete root-cause & why-why analysis; coordinating & running meetings to determine root-cause of issues by analysing incidents/trends
- Analysing & documenting modules’ functionality & features to avoid gaps and performing customizations in case of unavailability of functional solutions to meet business requirements
- Extending support towards managing the production issues with key focus on optimizing solution performance and scalability
- Conducting product demos for demonstrating new/customer specific changes and taking required sign-off
- Defining escalation / response / resolution time for reported problems on the basis of criticality
- Performing several roles like finding new process, determining gaps in existing process and implementing new processes; participating in design reviews & assisting with allocation of functionality to specific system components
- Understanding the customer’s needs and expectations and managing resources to achieve customer satisfaction, ensuring zero defect project deliverables
