PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

02/2008 – Current Solutions Consultant
Atlantic Global PLC
AG is a leader in the Project and Portfolio Management solutions sector. The complex software is focused on providing a central repository to manage PPM information across a business, from planning to billing and workflow. I provide solutions design for the PPM implementation. This requires pre-sales support, project planning, requirements gathering, solutions/system design, release management, project support, training and documentation. My role requires the management and monitoring on many implementations at once. To date my portfolio budget has been 400k, with all projects delivered to time and budget.
My clients range from departments in banks, utilities consortiums, IT Professional Service groups and Professional services divisions. Implementations have demanded advising businesses on best practice and business process improvement. Naturally due to the complex nature of the business problem resolution and issue management is a critical part of the role. I have also made direct changes to the business, rolling out new processes and assisting with the design of the development roadmap for the product.

01/2007 – 01/2008 IT Consultant Director (Temporary)
Knightsbridge Holdings Ltd
I joined to provide strategic review and define processes throughout the business as well as direct and re-engineer current processes to increase profitability and efficiency. Other duties included the management of major software developments, marketing plans and risk assessments around the roll out of a new product and its required supporting infrastructure.
I was responsible for the entire E-Commerce arm in current and interim formats as well as internal and external sales processes and the planning and management of business relocation. I also assisted in determining funded streams from government and other agencies.
I naturally worked closely with senior board members to fulfill these duties. Formulised documentation and risk assessments were provided as well as new governance processes for the product. I managed a multi-phase project plan and business and financial review points for the delivery of the new product.

10/2005 – 01/2007 Project Manager/Knowledge and Value SME
EDS CORP
My tenure at EDS illustrates my ability to learn quickly and move into new roles rapidly making a difference. I was directly involved in the setting up of a programme office and determining Knowledge and Value Management strategies. My responsibilities include the governance of projects, business process improvement, employing best practices and QMS systems. I have managed projects to PM2, Prince2, CCTI, ITIL standards and assist in the modeling and synchronization of disciplines into the project and programme environment.
I led the design and implementation of a Project and Programme Community Portal, which recently won an enterprise award relating to the deliver of an internal knowledge and communications system.
Employed as a strand leader on the JC+ project for the DWP, running a team delivering applications to refreshed locations. This was deploying and rolling delivery through change, multiple small projects amounting to 20k per week. I moved on to a client facing infrastructure and resource project rolling out to multiple sites over a 7 month period. This followed PM2 and Prince2 functions, included project scoping, monitoring and quality management, budget, requirements definition and delivery as well as acting as direct liaison with stakeholders.

02/2005 – 09/2005 PROJECT CONSULTANT (Contract) Accenture/ Phoenix IT Services
Providing consultation and project support directly on clients site and with associated stakeholders to manage the implementation planning and the delivery of software and infrastructure upgrades for networks and workstations at PCT’s and ACT’s in relation to the NPFIT program and the Choose and Book project.
Working to Prince2 standards and very tight deadlines, I assisted in the planning, implementation and risk management of a rollout of 10,000 workstation upgrades and software packages in the North East area.

01/2003 – 01/2005 TECHNICAL - PROJECT MANAGER
DURHAM L.E.A (Contract)
Involvement as a project stakeholder and project manager on the creation of a ground breaking multimedia career development solution. Working loosely to Prince 2 and delivering to common quality standards the project budget amounted to 350k.
Critical to the project was the provision of student support, acting as a seminar leader, teacher, motivator and technical support to staff and students. Provided the requirements definition, feasibility, planning and management of implementations and school fit out across multiple sites. Focusing on ICT infrastructure, tender and vendor management and management.
