systems, construction equipment, power tools and assembly systems.
I did 2 projects at Atlas Copco CT and a small reporting project for Industrial Technique
The first project was a migration project from on-premise to cloud and creating a
reporting solution on the data. The project was divided in 2 agile phases:
Phase 1: Front-end reporting Power BI.
My main role was creating reports with the use of custom columns, measures, DAX,
Power Query M, custom visuals, hierarchies, and creating and optimize data models in
Power BI. This was done by gathering the requirements from the client and
implementing this.
Phase 2: Back-end and frontend reporting developer
In this phase the focus was on creating and maintaining a SQL Server, OLAP cube
(SSAS), and the Azure environment, testing, migrating the data(ETL/ ELT) finding and
reporting data quality issues, testing the code and fixing errors, writing technical
analysis for the offshore team; this included coaching, reviewing their code, and
following up on them. After each step documentation was written.
The second project is a side project of the previous one. As the previous was about
hindcasting the data, the second one is about forecasting the data with CRM data. We
analysed the data that the sales representatives gave in their
respective CRM systems. With this data we started analysing, creating a new data
model (Kimball), developing and transforming the data present and present it in the
OLAP Cube (SSAS) newly created for the leading indicators project, where reports get
created on with Power BI.
For Atlas Copco IT I was tasked to modify the existing distributor dashboard, to be
more aligned for the IT business area. This was a solo project done in Power BI.
