Analysis of business requirements (BRDs), writing functional specifications (FSDs), preparation of functional test cases, review of test results and conducting UAT for clients. Work also involves accounting for Hedge Funds, building use cases, creating visio diagrams and reconciliation of numbers (Positions and PnL).
Daily accounting involves Trial Balance reports, NAV reports, Cash Ledgers, Positions, Profit and Loss data etc.
Latest project involved Migrating Data from Cobra (in house system of client) to Geneva (Portfolio Accounting system) by account mapping. During project implementation Investran was also being used for Fund accounting and Investor accounting.
Another product Security and Reference master (SRM) was also used to setup static data for Illiquid securities during implementation.
Technical Experience :
Along with the business side have also gathered technical experience in Advent Geneva. Have complete knowledge of Geneva Accounting, its Journal Entries, Tax Lots, Positions. I have also written Geneva RSL/RDL too during implementation for certain clients.
Have used Geneva Loaders formats while migrating other system data into Geneva. Also have exposure to Geneva's Closed Period Accounting and Incremental accounting
