Formerly a senior director in a leading Leeds marketing/PR agency and now a freelance consultant, I have nearly 30 years’ experience in PR and strategic communications.  I’ve been working freelance for the past 15 years and am currently looking for flexible short-term contracts and copywriting projects.

I have considerable specialist knowledge of food and drink with a strong background in seafood, including working with JCS Fish, Seafish and for fifteen years as a retained consultant to Young’s Seafood (and the Findus Group).   I was retained by KP Snacks for 8 years supporting its corporate communications function and delivered a staff magazine for its 8 sites and 2000 people.  This was recognised in the Institute of Internal Communications as finalist for ‘Best Newsletter/Newspaper’ in 2018.

In 2019 three out of four entries I wrote for clients in various industry awards were winners.
