The Digital Studio is part of the KLM's Digital Transformation program
which focusses on digitizing KLM processes. It produces iOS enterprise
apps used by KLM personal both on the ground and in the air. We
worked agile using Jira with two-week sprints and demoing our projects
to both management and end-users. We also were present the KLM crew
centre at Schiphol on a regular basis to get direct feedback on our
products. The apps I worked on were new but using many of KLM's
existing backend systems as webservices.
KLM Digital Pax: eAssessment, a new app for periodically assessing
cabin crew during the flight.
KLM Digital Studio: CrewCheckIn, a proof on concept iPad app with a
new check-in process for cabin crew and pilots using iBeacons,
passport/visa scanning and electronic Bluetooth bagtags.

Mobile Developer
Philips

I created a demo for Philips Research. The concept is marked as
confidential, so no information about the purpose or contents of the app
may be released.

The iPad app connects with an external device, by Bluetooth, to retrieve
measurements. This data is sent to the backend. There it is converted to
more usable data and, based on the data, more content will be
generated. In (multiple threads in) the background of the app the
processed data is retrieved (NSOperations, JSON), locally stored (Core
Data) and subsequently visualized on the iPad in graphs and
overviews/lists.

The app has been written in Swift but makes use of existing (Objective-C)
libraries as well, with the help of (cocoa) pods. During this project, also
worked with JIRA and Stash
