Python/PHP Developer Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote work 20-25 hours per week Can work anytime Client is based in Chicago, IL F2F required

Job description:

The applicants should have good experience in Python Developer in Linux using Apache Web, MySQL, Python, PHP language; provide the professional services to perform the role of Python/PHP Developer in support of the Linux Application environment. The developer should be well versed and capable of administrating Linux OS, Apache2, MySQL and PostgresSQL. They should have a good understanding of PHP and with optional Python experience.

Proactive Support * Research and recommendations regarding applications and hardware/VM specifications * Installation and configuration of application packages on hardware/VM * Configuring applications to comply with security best practices * Patching of applications on an ongoing basis * Incorporating applications and associated data into a comprehensive backup plan * Any additional proactive management and maintenance tasks

Requirements

Key responsibilities shall include:

  • Day-to-day management activities of the programming and other work required
  • Coordinating technical activities of the work assigned with the Project Manager
  • Resolves the functional and technical issues of the work assigned
  • Provide quality deliverable
