Description
Safety Engineer required to join our client on a part-time and temporary basis (3 days per week for approx. 8 months).Reporting to the Safety Manager, the role will be responsible, across two sites in Dublin for the implementation of a broad range of site-wide technical EHS initiatives/programmes to meet objectives,
Role and responsibilites:
* Representing EHS on CAPEX Projects,
* Conducting Safety Program Audits.
* Providing Technical Safety Training.
* Providing back-fill for the Process Safety Manager where required.
* Analysis of site-wide EHS performance metrics,
* Incident Investigation
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a technical (process safety) EHS roles, extensive experience leading cross functional teams on technical EHS projects. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
