Description
A major bank with a subsidiary in the UK is looking for a contract Credit Analyst with experience analysing Financial Institutions.
The role will involve working as part of a team of five, providing analysis on a variety of financial companies. These will predominantly be banks and brokers as well as some hedge funds. Products covered will include repos and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the firms exposure to credit risk and providing analysis around this
- Assessing counterparty risk
- Assessing new business proposals and one-off transactions
- Investigating exposure discrepancies and limit excess
Skills and experience required:
- Investment banking credit analysis experience
- Understanding of limit frameworks and exposure reporting useful
- Experience interpreting financial data and compiling reports
