Senior Category Manager/Procurement/Contract/South London Area/£350-£400
We are working closely with a local authority in the South London region who are looking for a senior category manager to work underneath the Head of Procurement. They will be responsible for deputising for the Head of Procurement in all procurement team matters. The post holder will be responsible for planning, managing and co-ordinating the work of a category team tasked with delivering a category specific multi-million-pound annual procurement programme for the council.
The chosen candidate will have been a category manager before, preferably at a local authority with experience based around social care and health. They must be very dynamic and have great stakeholder management skills and thus have relevant line management experience.
