Description
Clinical Coder required to cover for a substantive post and a small backlog for the next 6 months in an acute NHS trust. The ideal Clinical Coder will be ACC qualified (NCCQ qualification ) with a Clinical Coding refresher course in the last 3 years.The Contract Clinical Coder will be working across a wide range of specialties and capable of collection the case notes from the ward to then code onto the clinical coding system from paper based notes.
The basics of the contract are:
- £220 Per day
- 6 months
- start date ASAP
- Based in Birmingham
The Clinical coder will be required to have:
- The ACC/NCCQ Qualification
- Clinical Coding refresher course in the last 3 years
- 2 forms of ID OR NHSSmartcard
- Capable of coding a wide range of ACUTE specialties
