Description

ASA are currently recruiting for an Interim Manager for our client based in Glasgow. This post is due to commence on 18th January for an initial period of 3 months, with the option to be extended. This post is 37 hours per week and the salary range attributed to this post would be £62,500 - £68,500 per annum.

We are looking for an Interim Manager/Shared Service Lead to see through the implementation of the Digital Transformation Service as a centre of digital excellence. In doing this, to:

1. Oversee planned recruitment to the team to attract both an effective leadership team and a group of professional digital experts in different disciplines
2. Establish the processes and ways of working to build an effective operational unit around the above
3. To build an internal and external reputation for professional digital excellence
4. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across to both attract and inform digital projects for new service
5. Establish the necessary financial and other discipline required including identifying clear metrics to evaluate the success of the service going forward

Essential Requirements:
- Experience of leading significant digital transformation programmes, preferably within a public sector environment
- Change management experience in complex environments, with a particular focus on the people/organisational issues
- Experience of working within a broad range of traditional and agile project and programme management disciplines
- Experience of leading or working within a professional consultancy environment in which success depends on the ability to add significant value to a client's operations/businesses
- Ability to establish, mould and lead a team of professionals from different disciplines working across a geographically dispersed area
- Senior leadership experience in a public sector or large corporate environment with a proven ability to contribute positively to ensuring the success of a senior leadership team

Travel Requirements
Travel will be required across Scotland, predominately the Central Belt but may include occasional trips to other parts of Scotland. It is envisaged that the service will have initial bases in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
