I&C Site Coordinator

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a I&C Site Coordinator to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Position Title: I&C Site Coordinator
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: January/February 2016
Duration: 6 months rolling
Location: Greater London area

Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordination a number of sites, installation and commissioning teams/subcontractors through the entire project from start to finish
- Follow the installation procedures as defined in the project
- Follow commissioning procedures as defined by the Project Manager
- Provide daily updates on rollout plan and attend weekly update meetings
- Act as interface between company and the customer (this includes providing updates as and when necessary, and keeping customer updated on current status and plans for the project)
- Responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered within the necessary time frames ready for installation
- Ensuring that high quality plans are being devised and delivered by the Subcons
- Recording and tracking of all ACRs, escalating issues to the Project Manager where necessary
- Working closely with the H&S/Quality Manager to ensure that the H&S and quality requirements are being met by the Subcons
- Send schedules through to Procurement team for timely management of Purchase Orders on a weekly basis
- Updates and coordinates acceptance of sites with the customer and all relevant departments
- Scheduling any required revisits (fault finding)
- Evaluates the performance of the Subcon and reports back to Project Manager
- Overall responsibility for allocation, completion and handover packs
- Updating of databases/tools relating to relevant sites

Qualification:
- Previous experience in a I &C site Coordination role in a similar fast-paced environment
- Previous experience and understanding of project management is advantageous
- Any Project Management/Coordination qualifications would be advantageous
- Organisation and time management skills at a high level
- Ability to communicate confidently towards all stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure
- Ability to understand problems and propose solutions
- Accurate, reliable, self-confident
- Ability to positively influence the performance of Staff / Partners / Subcontractors
- MS Office Suite (High competence)
- Excellent Excel skills essential including VLOOKUP, Pivot table and charting
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong people skills
- Articulate with strong attention to detail
