Sanctions Advisory, Senior Manager

An exciting sanctions role has come on to the market for an experienced senior sanctions manager to provide sanctions advisory and sanctions related solutions to stakeholders across the banks various business lines based in London.

The role will see you working with senior members of the business, which can include relationship managers at managing director level up to board level, advising them on complex sanctions situations that can arise throughout their client lifecycle. The banks clients can range from a listed company to the owner of a chemicals firm based in a high-risk jurisdiction with 200 employees.

Due to the complex matrix system in place at the bank, strong stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent communications skills are imperative. If you have worked within a large banking environment then this will be beneficial.

As a senior member of the sanctions advisory team you will also act as an escalation point for any sanctions related queries coming from more junior team members of your team, assisting them with more challenging stakeholder and guiding them should they need your assistance.

As part of the sanctions advisory team you may be required to represent the bank at risk committees, steering groups, project workshops and forums.

Needless to say, a comprehensive understanding of sanctions is crucial.
