We are currently recruiting for an Optical Network Planning and Design Consultant to join their business in Spain.

Position Title: Optical Network Planning and Design Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
- Design routes fiber-based networks including point-to-point, ring and path diverse routing
- Create written design documentation (based on project request).
- Identify and recommend hardware based on network analysis.
- Provide technical support to Deployment and Implementation Team.
- Produce Tx Design documents.

Qualifications:
- DWDM advanced knowledge.
- Experience on Optical Transmission Network design.
- Familiar with U2000.
- Preferable experience with OSP tools GIROS, SWAN, OCEANE.
- Consultant must provide a personal laptop, phone and internet connection.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written).
