Description
A proactive and highly analytical Senior Accountant preferably with experience of working with high volume of data is required for a 3-6 month temp to perm contract based in Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large organisation going through a major transition and to be an integral part of a dynamic finance function.
The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in monitoring billing and managing revenue recognition and for providing all the required reporting, documentation and reconciliations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate reporting and explanation of variances with Business Intelligence, Sales and Billings teams
- Reviewing revenue calculation
- Reporting on billing and sales performance, explanation of variances against forecast and budget providing meaningful commentary
- Leading the forecasting and budget process for billing and sales
- Working with the team developing the new billing system
- Managing one direct report
The Senior Accountant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with hands on experience of management accounting and in a variety of systems (SAP, HFM desirable). You will also possess excellent communication skills to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
