Description
A Financial Accountant with a strong background in a controls environment and SAP experience is required for a 12 month contract based in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large organisation currently undergoing a major transition.
The successful Financial Accountant will be a central point within the wider finance team, key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP for group reporting.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Producing statutory accounts for group entities.
* Liaising with external auditors.
* Documenting controls and processes.
* You will also be involved in establishing a new SOX programme and testing of controls.
The suitable Financial Accountant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with technically strong experience of IFRS and US GAAP. Candidates will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence a variety of stakeholders.
