Systems Safety Case Engineer - Defence & Aerospace
A Safety Case Engineer with Defence & Aerospace is required to work on a seven month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Preston.
This is a 7 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Systems Safety Case Engineer contract role
An experienced aerospace safety engineer is required on our clients programme to produce safety case reports. The primary purpose of the role is to author Safety Case Argument Reports (SCAR). This includes updates to Goal structured Notation (GSN), using Adelard Safety Case Editor, relevant to the agreed standards, identifying relevant evidence artefacts, and articulating the GSN in a report format.
Key skills required for the Systems Safety Case Engineer
- The applicant will ideally have experience authoring safety case arguments using goal structured notation.
- Experience in an aircraft systems safety role and aircraft systems engineering is required.
- It is desirable that applicants have an Engineering degree or equivalent aircraft systems engineering experience.
- Using Adelard Safety Case Editor (desirable).
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds.
