Management Accountant is required for a contract position in Wales. Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector.
Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Wales, Ellipse Some travel to Nottingham and Bristol
duration: 5 Months
- Determine full life cycle experience and be adept at mapping and defining reporting requirements for the Agency based on current and future requirements
- Determine the reporting capabilities within the SAP DfT core build, including standard reporting and Business Warehouse system against existing SAP and Oracle R12 solutions
- Evaluate compatibility of reports built by other DfT agencies (and available to DVSA)
- Assess suitability of the SAP reporting solutions available within the DfT Shared Services contract, identifying limitations and/or benefits
- Create functional/non-functional specifications, user cases and data models based on findings
- Scope of reporting to include but not limited to DVSA Board reports, budget holder reporting, Financial project reporting, capital planning and Financial Operations reporting.
Requirements
- Experience of a Finance System migration and integration
- Experience of mergers and consolidation
- Extensive knowledge of SAP/Business Analyser reporting
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle R12/Discoverer reporting
- Experience of a multi-product/complex business
