Description
Our client, a global bank, is looking to hire a Service/Project Manager to work within their Infrastructure Services. The bank is currently going through enormous change to truly transform their IT Infrastructure and this opportunity comes during an exciting phase of that transformation. Experience within IT Infrastructure as well as a banking background is necessary. Experience with Service Now, along with evidence of having used this tool in previous roles and the realised business benefits that have come from the changes implemented is essential.
Role Purpose
- Manage the end-to-end process strategy across multiple business units association with the banks Collaboration Services
- Being a confident and competent negotiator and communicator with regards to changes in the status quo and current understanding of business processes across multiple business units.
- Early identification and evaluation of potential risks and issues arising from process reengineering and the consistent ability to remediate them to the satisfaction of all major stakeholders.
- Preparing realistic project and financial plans and tracking all activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Ensuring that all process changes and future requirements are tracked against all financial and non-financial regulations.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders are included in the planning and implementation of process changes and the associated impact on various business units.
- Monitors costs, timescales and resources used and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
- Ensures that own projects are formally closed and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
- Individual should have experience of preparation of in depth documentation so that they are able to prepare in depth steering packs, project plans and other project documentation for senior stakeholders.
This is a contract role based in Radbroke, Greater Manchester.
