Oracle R12 Project Manager - Contract Cork 3-6 months.
My client a leading name in their global industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Oracle R12 Project Manager to join them on a contract basis until the end of May initially with view for extension.
My client is looking for a Project management of redesign and re implementation of Projects and iProcurement functionality on R12. There is a need to have a project management skill set to direct, prioritise and drive the work. The Candidate needs sufficient Oracle Financials skills - particularly Oracle Projects - in order to be able to provide design challenge and prioritisation.
The core skills that are required are project managing Oracle Projects Portfolio Management, Oracle I-Procurement. The successful candidate will have come from an Oracle ERP Functional/Technical background AND they will also be experienced in managing projects. The Content knowledge (of the relevant modules) is important as they will need to know when to push back on stakeholders. The person will have had to have held a lead role in a project previously. A Project Manager who is strong in a different ERP system will not be suitable. The ideal candidate will have been an Oracle Consultant before going into project management. A non-technical PM is not an option.
