Job Description:
- Preparation of monthly journal entries
- Post transactions
- Preparation of monthly roll forwards and reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- As a result of performing reconciliations, complete any adjusting journal entries necessary to correctly state the general ledger accounts
- Analysis of general ledger accounts for unusual variances and make corrections when necessary through re-classes and other adjustments
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and financial projects as requested
- Document accounting business processes to maintain internal controls
- In addition to these essential functions, the job includes other functions that may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7-10 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
- Passing of CPA exam
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills strongly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have manufacturing industry experience
- Must be able to work in a flexible work environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
