Description
An exciting opportunity for a driven Finance Analyst to join a recognised business in the Hampshire Surrey border. You will be reporting directly to their Head of Finance and working closely with various members of the business' leadership team and your financial expertise will provide insight which will be fundamentally important to the performance of the business.
As the Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new business opportunities and cost cutting initiatives with financial analysis, you will need to collaborate with various business units to assess these.
- Highlighting areas of change on the year to year financial forecast, budget, performance and executing a bridge analysis.
- Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of both the financial systems and processes.
- Attending meetings and correspond with external clients that the business has significant contracts with, not only will you need to provide financial analysis on this but you will need to engage in conversations regarding the long-term finances and activities.
- Interpreting the performance of the business through analysis, both operational and financial.
You will need to be a personable Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will need to have strong analytical skills and be a naturally inquisitive problem solver with financial modelling experience. You must be able to clearly present your financial insight through reporting and presentations, so it is essential that you have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
