Description
My global power client has a requirement for a planning engineer on an initial 12 month contract.
There are two locations you can work from - Manchester or Newcastle.
The role includes:
- Supports Resource Manager with high level Project Planning
- Support the development of new forecast process
- Produces integrated resource plan providing an overview of business forecast requirements, including OIH and Prospects
- Integrate detailed M&E activities/hours, Plant, Materials and cost scheduling from Site Manager Report into P6 Project Plans
- Tracks the execution of M&E schedule including milestones, critical activities, Resources and Plant
- Participate in Project Reviews (Finance/Commercial, Field Operations and Project Management)
- Liaises with Technical Business Unit Planners both site and office based
- Organizes and analyzes the planning or re-planning of the project schedule
- Reporting and KPI's for priority projects
- Continuous process improvement
Essential Experience
- P6
- Substation experience
- Construction experience including M&E & Civils
- Site based experience

Hours - 8 hour day in office/10 hour day on site
