Description
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you are responsible for the civil works: structures,infrastructures.
You are responsible for the following tasks:
? Analysis and report by writing on:
- Implementing conditions of the works
o Safety control system (lifting and handling, operation of construction machinery),
o Respect of the planning of execution,
o Checking the methods and means implemented by the General Contractor,
o Technical norms compliance,
- Checking of calculation of structures,
- Qualitative and quantitative control of the installations,
- Checking of the works in conformity with the contractual documents (technical
specifications techniques, drawings, ...),
- Diagnosis and defaults' correction of technical problems.
? Daily report to the Site Manager and the Project team in Geneva in charge of the project
management.
? Liaison with the Client and the General Contractor, participating to the coordination meetings
on site.
Main criteria:
? Background in Civil Engineering.
? Experience in the cement field (techniques used for the civil erection of a cement plant).
? Significant experience in a position of Civil Engineer for the site supervision.
? Ability to inspect, control and report by writing on the operational conditions.
? Ability to elaborate a maintenance plan, instructions manual for the preventive maintenance
and for the default diagnosis.
? Positive attitude and good diplomacy ensuring a good interface with the Client
Ability to speak French a significant plus,
