IT Risk Manager
Our client is currently wanted to on board an IT Risk Manager for a 3 month period.
The individual will need to have an FS background, and good experience in IT Risk Management in an operational capacity. People management will also be part of the role for the duration.
It will require some travel to the UK during this period but is predominantly based in Dublin,Ireland.
Role outline:
The IT Risk Manager reports to the Vice-President, Technology Risk and is accountable for management of the IT Risk Management function which is the 2nd line of defence for IT Operational Risk and Regulatory Compliance Risk.
This role is responsible for:

Providing advice, consultation, facilitation and reporting to I.S. and business leaders on their 1st line risk identification, and measurement management and monitoring

Providing advice, consultation, facilitation and reporting to I.S. and business leaders on their 1st line regulatory compliance regulatory identification, assessments, internal controls and testing

Leading challenge and reporting on 1st line IT Operational Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance Management.

Leading the development, delivery, implementation, and ongoing currency of disaster recovery plans and processes

Getting involved in the hiring process for the permanent position
This is a Senior Management, high-level governance position, driven by the need to ensure IT Operational Risk Management, IT Compliance Management and Disaster Recovery Management activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and the company risk tolerance. It is sponsored by senior management, operational risk management, regulatory compliance management and internal and external audit, and is consistent with the need for higher visibility of IT. risk and regulatory compliance.
