For the right candidate, we are now offering a job as Senior Project Procurement/Contract Manager. The candidate will work at one of our clients projects within the renewable energy sector. The project will initiate a major investment in infrastructure, and the position is to be fulfilled ASAP.
Description of the role
The Procurement/Contract Manager will support the Division Procurement Manager in relation to the commercial and legal activities during the tender process.
With regards to the commercial and legal tender documents, the Contract manager is responsible for the updates of Contract Documents, such as price schedule, payment plan, etc..
For the evaluation of incoming tender, the Contract Manager is responsible for the evaluation of deliverables incl. legal and commercial reservations.
The Senior Procurement/Contract Manager will be responsible for the coordination with External lawyer and other external parties involved in the Tender process and evaluation.
The Senior Procurement/Contract Manager will participate in the feedback/negotiation meetings with the Tenderers, and will together with the external legal adviser be responsible for the professional feedback regarding commercial contract/tender documents, clarifications on the CoC and the tenderer's commercial and legal reservations.
The Senior Procurement/Contract Manager will align with the other Division Contract Managers on the overall project, and will cooperate closely with the rest of the procurement team in respect of catching and understanding any legal/commercial aspects that there might in eg. technical issues.
The contract manager supports the procurement team with new legislation that could have influence on the project and thereby the contract negotiations.
Requirements
M.Sc in Law/business/Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience from large construction projects with many milestones and deadlines
Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating with subcontractors, or as Procurement Manager
Good at interacting internally as a part of a project group
Focus on overall deadlines and performance
Contract negotiations and validation of suppliers
Experienced working with Tender documents
Work experience as Contract Manager/Procurement Manager of projects in the size of +1 billion Euro´s
Preferable experience in the initial phases of infrastructure projects
Knowledge of EU law and practice
Preferable experienced purchasing within the windpower/high voltage industry
Fluent in Danish and English
The role is a 1 year contract employment with possible extension.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Eastern part of Jutland with extensive international travel.
