Mandarin Speaking Admin Assistant
Work Location: Cambridge/UK
Your responsibilities will cover the following:
- Asset management:
- Asset management: office asset, IT server room asset, Labs asset, etc. Asset tracking, maintain, distribution in AMT system, Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
- Office management:
- Office property management and maintenance;
- Purchasing and distribution of office facilities and stationeries.
- Assisting in purchasing and supplier management;
- Invoice processing and book keeping;
- Asset management.
- Organising company activities;
- Preparing for meetings and other events;
- Basic IT support;
- Acting as interface to Nice office, HQ and other departments within Huawei;
- Assisting managers and other staff with other administrative issues.
- Purchasing and payment assistance:
- Assisting in purchasing and supplier management;
- Invoice processing and book keeping;
- Asset management.
- Other secretarial tasks:
- Organising company activities;
- Preparing for meetings and other events;
- Basic IT support;
- Acting as interface to Nice office, HQ and other departments within Huawei;
- Assisting managers and other staff with other administrative issues.
As potential applicant, your qualification should match the following profile:
- Right to work Eligibility in the UK. Passport and Visas will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
- University degree in Business Administration/Law/Psychology or other relevant subject with major in Management or specialised qualification;
- Minimum of 1 years relevant practical experience as Team Assistant;
- Fluency in Mandarin speaking and English (written and spoken)
- Able to interact with all levels within the company and represent the company professionally towards externals;
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Team spirit, openness for an international environment and Chinese business culture;
- Hands-on and can-do attitude;
- Well-organised and structured working style.
