My client designs and manufactures products for the Space industry.
Due to a number of project wins they are now looking for a Satcom System & Modem Architect for a 6 month rolling contract to be located in Belgium.
The Role
*Designing modems and communication systems from information source to destination.
*Responsible for analysis/design/validating and implementation of wireless communications and earth observation systems on various platform (software or FPGA).
*Experience with digital modulations, waveforms, the propagation channel (Doppler effect, propagation effects, noise) and base-band processing in both transmitter and receiver.
*Responsible for the preparation of documentation (justification files, conceptual and detail design, performance analysis)
*of a space flight and ground modem development team.
*Ability to understand and perform critical analysis of customer requirements.
