GIS Data Capture Technicians
Brief Overview
My client is currently seeking a GIS Data Capture Technician to work in a field based role.
The ideal candidate will be based in Lincolnshire, however we will be happy to consider anyone who is within a commutable distance from there. You will be working on sites across the Lincolnshire area, and you will be provided with a van and fuel card.
The role is an initial 12-month contract covering a period of maternity leave.
Full training is given for this role.
Job Description
- Capturing asset data using a combination of paper based mapping and tablets with ESRI ArcGIS software.
- Identifying asset types and dimensions and recording them accurately.
- Completing all relevant compliance documentation.
Person Specification
- We need someone who has experience of using ArcGIS.
- Surveying experience of any kind would be a massive bonus.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good numerical and maths skills.
- Essential that you have a driving licence.
