Description

The Ideal candidate will be able to:

- Provide oversight on delivery of risk assessments from initial scoping through to execution, identification of gaps, and remediation of issues;
- Provide support on managing risks through their life cycle, from identification through to mitigation and closure, including gap analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute towards delivery of other focus areas including entitlements management, policy planning and workshops.
- Provide assistance on tooling requirements.
- Support reporting for divisional risk forums
- Work collaboratively with the risk management function and key stakeholders.

Skills Required:
The successful candidate will possess the skills necessary to support remediation of gaps in process, procedures and/or tooling. The role necessitates excellent soft skills and requires experience of supporting technology processes. It is expected the successful candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive, timely and accurate reports for onward escalation.

- You will have an awareness of how risk assessments are performed in a technical environment.
- An awareness and understanding of Risk & Control frameworks used in the financial industry. (eg COBIT, NIST)
- You will have experience working within the financial industry, or a relevant degree qualification
- Strong data analysis skills with strong knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulae etc)
- Comfortable with working on multiple streams of work concurrently.
- Experience of how to create reports and presenting to the manager.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation and leverage this to achieve work-related objectives.

Desired skills:
- Experience of management and oversight of technology risks
- Project Management experience.
- Experience of working in an Investment Banking environment.
- Experience of auditing within technical environments.
- Have industry recognised risk related qualifications (eg CRISC, CISM, CISSP) (desired).
