Interim Head of Procurement PL
Looking for a Head of Procurement for an initial 3 months contract in Warsaw for one of the largest cable television operator in Poland.
Responsibilities:
*Build and develop a cost-saving procurement organisation: leading a dedicated PL procurement team, reporting to Head of Procurement, CEE with dotted line to CFO PL
*Develop cross-functional diverse sourcing strategies for assigned Spend categories, using standard sourcing tools and processes, as well as implementing new models and innovative solutions
*Create and implement Procurement performance metrics and key indicators. Track and challenge Procurement activities and measurements
*Bring the expertise toward the business
*Implement and execute a Supplier Relationship Management program
*Responsible for central purchasing of all goods and services (strategic sourcing) including close cooperation and partnering with local business units and group central procurement function
*Responsible for E2E local tendering process including evaluation & selection of local vendors and on-boarding of global vendors
*Consistently analyze all aspects of the procurement process, outline vital areas for improvement and provide adequate solutions
*Demonstrate advanced industry knowledge and facilitation skills so that this role leads the negotiations of contractual requirements that includes managing complex RFI/RFPs, making selection recommendations, managing the implementation phase and adherence to contractual commitments
Required competence and skills:
*Strong leadership, highly developed negotiations skills, change management experience
*Proactive team player, target oriented, open minded, problems solving, can-do attitude with continuous improvement approach
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate corporate ambitions into timely actions
*Integrity and dedication, open and honest
*Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an international business environment
*University degree required
