Proteus Europe is searching for a Functional Analyst who has experience in the banking sector and specifically with Risk Products and Liquidity systems.
Our Client:-
Our Client is a Banking service provider based in Belgium. They work in the retail and investment side of the banking service and as such have a reputation for consistently delivering reliable services as thousands of people in Belgium depend upon them every single day.
Your New role:-
We are looking for a motivated senior functional analyst with experience in banking products, liquidity risk management and OneSumX (RISKPRO- vendor Wolters Kluwers Financial Services).
Next to this the following experience and competences are required:
- Knowledge of bank accounting
- Knowledge of regulation concerning liquidity
- Knowledge on reconciliation of data (accounting vs reporting)
- Result driven, taking into account risks and quality
- Knowledge of the tool Riskpro ( (OneSumX) of Wolters Kluwers
- Write performant SQL queries (via SQL developer).
Next to this the following experience and competences are advisable:
- Experience with Agile working
- Experience in project way of working
- Knowledge and experience in risk management
- Very good communication (vocal and written)
- Team player, however with good self-management
- Knowledge and experience in Asset and Liability risk management makes prolonguation of contract by deployment in other projects possible.
Preference for experience in working with any other Belgian financial companies.
You will be joining a team, responsible for implementing changes and new requirements on systems, used for different kinds of risk reporting (internal and external). The tool - RiskPro - (OneSumX) is used for the calculations (ALM, Liquidity, Credit Risk, Insurance Risk). OneSumX is an external packet (vendor WKFS). You are working in a challenging and continuously changing environment. For the current project you are responsible for delivering the requirements on the agreed timings in a maintainable and future-proof manner, not impacting the stability of the daily operations. Therefor it is necessary to agree on the solution by all involved parties (business, team, interfacing teams) and communicate on a frequent basis.
