Description
A Global Investment Manager is looking for an Internal Communications Specialisty to support a Major Change Programme.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the development of an internal communications approach that supports organisational objectives and overarching communications strategy
- Working collaboratively with other members of the Communications team to improve the consistency of communications and support our wider goals
- Having a clear understanding of business issues and can identify where communications can help to solve organisational problems and achieve organisational objectives, including supporting the delivery of improved ways of working
- Advising and coaching colleagues at all levels within the organisation on effective internal communications; recommending appropriate solutions; helping others make informed choices and building people's communication competence
- Supporting with a number of initiatives to develop organisational culture
- Developing and delivering effective internal communication channels for sharing information and intelligence
- Supporting and conducting research and managing mechanisms for gathering feedback and staff reaction in order to feed that information into ongoing developments
Candidates will need to:
- Develop strong relationships with key leaders, advocates and colleagues to facilitate execution of stakeholder communications
- Work seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues
- Adhere to the communications processes and governance procedures for the programme to maximise efficiency and consistency
- Delivery work in a global context.
Candidates must have:
- Extensive experience in an employee or wider communications role
- A BANKING OR FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND IS ESSENTIAL
- Advanced stakeholder management skills
- Experience in change and understanding of large scale transformation
- Proven track record of delivery large programmes
