EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for an experienced SAS Consultant
to join one of their key financial project teams, based on client site, in Manchester. The Senior Consultants will work as part of the Mortgage Rectification calculator team, working alongside the Finance and QA functions to design, build, test and validate redress models. In addition they will be responsible for documentation, implementation and presentation of models, calculators and methodologies.
They will require a full understanding of mortgage remediation and redress and how to model the impact of account/customer behaviour.
Role requirements:
- Build SAS models and calculators (SAS EG and SAS DI)
- Provide input into calculator methodology
- Produce Technical Specification documents
- Engage with business stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure complete documentation
- Present model methodology to stakeholders
- Identify and manage risks related to the models and calculators
Required skills and Experience:
- 3 years+ experience building financial models or redress calculators in SAS.
- 2 Years+ experience of working on a secured loan/mortgage portfolio.
- A minimum of 5 years SAS code development experience.
- Advanced SAS certification.
- Documentation, Reporting and Presentation experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and experience.
