Sales Assistant - Fixed Income
For this reputable investment bank we are looking for a Sales Assistant with Fixed Income experience. Based on the Trading Floor, Sales Assistants are Client and Sales Desk aligned covering the Fixed Income Bond business. Providing superior client service to our Top Tier and other clients continues to be one of the team's main focuses. The team provides many value-added tasks across the full product range of Fixed Income Securities (Secondary and New Issue activity), for Credit, Rates, Emerging Markets & Mortgage Backed Securities.
Overall purpose of role:
To provide strong sales support coverage to both Front Office partners and Clients.
To increase capacity in the team and assist providing support to the firm's Sales force and clients, to expedite and streamline transaction flows, increase control and enhance the client's experience
Basic Qualifications
- One or more years of Financial Services experience.
- One or more years of Operations experience related to processing trades and the movement of securities or cash
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Fixed Income experience - Understanding of Trade Lifecycle
- Excel,VBA & Microsoft access experience
- Knowledge of electronic platforms for trading and confirmations including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Omgeo CTM and FIX.
