Description

IFRS 9 Implementation Manager

The Role:

  • To lead the bank's IFRS 9 business readiness and implementation.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the risk and impairment models used and work with the various business stakeholders to ensure the IFRS 9 is implemented (with particular focus on the credit and business teams).
  • Test plans and test scripts as required.
  • Deliver training and communication to the business.
  • Reviewing and validating input and output of data.
  • Impairment provisioning.
  • Support transition to BAU model.

Requirements:

  • IFRS 9 experience.
  • Previously worked on credit risk projects.
  • Experience with business readiness.
  • Test plans and test scripts experience.
  • Wholesale banking product knowledge.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Modelling experience is also desirable - PD LGD, EAD
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
