Sr Financial Analyst
Description:
Part of the Consumer Digital Strategy IT PMO, this role will be responsible for partnering with Program Management to build annual budgets, manage quarterly and rolling forecasts, and provide decision support through financial analyses to ensure optimal returns. This is a key position providing guidance on financial and operational matters across a very large program. Additionally, this individual is expected to be an integral player in important cross-functional, organization wide initiatives and projects.
Top Daily Responsibilities:

RPM reporting and analysis, trending, SOW management, cost accounting, and cap/opex tracking

Support the budget, quarterly forecast and long-term strategic planning processes for IT program

Design and refine detailed financial models that forecast and analyze functional costs to fully understand sources of variance and ultimately, improve forecast accuracy

Ensure that the organization can flex and react to short-term budget surpluses/deficits

Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyze financial results, distil/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risk, and communicate key messages to program manager & senior management

Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to synthesize and integrate updates relating to variances in actual procurement activity relative to budget forecasts

Support program management by providing timely ad hoc reporting on critical issues

Become Embedded with program managers across the program, establishing trust, building relationships and gaining a deep understanding of relevant drivers
Requirements:

PMP is a plus
-
Six years of relevant finance experience
-
Four-year university degree in finance, economics or accounting required with high GPA

Strong financial and operational planning skills

Expertise in building Excel-based financial models

Analytical, problem-solving, advanced business acumen mindset

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience developing and delivering presentations

Ability to influence at all levels of an organization

Ability to multi-task effectively, working in team environments or independently

Experience with financial systems or project management tools

Clarity RPM tool experience a big plus
