Finance Manager
We are currently looking to hire a finance manager who currently holds Security Clearance. Candidates with a level of security clearance (SC), or willing to undergo security clearance are highly desirable.
Finance Manager Responsibilities;
- Manage the finances behind a large IT programme, working with project teams and senior budget holders.
- Provide support for project forecasts, and being responsible for reporting.
- Find best practice and challenge the status quo.
- Supporting project reviews by providing accurate data and challenging where appropriate
- Provide financial analysis to support decision making and understand key variances.
- Have a well developed understanding of supplier cost base and any financial implications of the supplier contracts.
- Work within the clients Enterprise Resource Planning tool (Prism) including uploading of forecasts/budgets.
- Support to the Financial Controller and the rest of the team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Finance Manager Skill set/Experience
- CIMA or ACCA qualified or by experience
- Project accounting experience.
- Proven IT skills, especially using Excel.
- Good analytical skills and ability to challenge when required.
- Able to forge positive working relationships with peers.
- High level communication skills, attention to detail, and a desire and willingness to learn.
