Communications Officer
Contract. Public Sector. 6 months + Nottingham
Communications Officer required on a initial 6 Month contract in Nottingham. The Communications officer will be responsible for the planning, designing and delivering offline and online marketing campaigns and communications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both digital and traditional marketing and have significant communications experience.
- Contribute to Communications and Marketing strategic planning and objective setting by monitoring and evaluating future work requirements
- Manage projects and activity to ensure the successful implementation of audience led work programmes and plans that form part of the annual corporate campaigns plan
- Provide marketing expertise to deliver specific outcomes and make appropriate recommendations
- Originate and develop marketing content and materials that meets the target audience's needs
- Identify and commission relevant advertising and promotional solutions
- Efficient use of resources to meet work requirements
- Monitor the project budget and advise/report on variances by exception
- Deliver work to agreed time, cost and quality
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of the external operating environment and provide advice on service developments and changes to operating practices, this will include customer insight of relevant audiences
- Support the delivery of coaching and mentoring plans as required
- Develop communication activity that is focused and appropriate to the target audience
- Work flexibly across all communication disciplines as required by your manager, this may include occasional emergency/out of hours cover
