Are you an experienced Scrum Master with a deep understanding of the theory and practical application of Agile in a development environment? Do you have experience of providing leadership and mentoring to less experienced Scrum Masters? If so, apply now for this 2 year programme based in Essex.A Senior Scrum Master is required to join a large scale and ambitious greenfield platform development programme. The role will involve being both a hands-on Scrum Master to at least 2 Scrum teams, as well as mentoring and developing 2-3 junior Scrum Masters.
You will be experienced in the theory of Agile techniques, but will have a wealth of practical experience of applying this in a working environment, challenging the theory when appropriate.
The successful Scrum Master will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
*Certified ScrumMaster (or equivalent)
*Demonstrable experience of supporting, coaching and mentoring junior Scrum Masters
*Practical experience of coaching Scrum teams
*Ability to identify challenges faced in the application of Agile, and find suitable resolutions
*Championing best practice
*TDD / Test Driven Development
*Scaled Agile Framework / SAFe
*Agile - Scrum / XP / Kanban etc
*Experience of coaching DevOps teams in Scrum
This is an excellent long term contract opportunity for a skilled Senior Scrum Master to really put their mark on a large scale development programme, and drive the application of Scrum across the board.
The rate will depend on previous skills and experience, but will be in the range of £ per day.
The initial period of the contract will run until the end of June, at which point a 12 month extension will be offered.
This is an urgent requirement, with interviews to take place asap. You will ideally be able to start a new role immediately, or with 1 week's notice.
