We have an immediate opportunity for a Software Procurement Analyst specialising in License Management (Software Asset management) within a major telecoms provider.
The company provide all aspects of Media and Telecom services (Mobile, Broadband, Fixed Line, TV Media etc)
The role is to set up and provide a complete audit and data extraction for the IT systems, Sofware license management.
You will be part of a team responsible for the extraction of data from the systems of all softweare licensing, collecting and capturing data within a centralized license inventory DB and associated management tools.
The project willl be carried out by a team of 6+ selected students, you will be partly responsible for the Initial set-up, training, supervision, daily co-ordination and support of a the team.
When this phase is complete you will l then consolidate & troubleshoot the inventory with other audit teams then report to the SAM-function and other relevant departments the results.
Education: IT Procurement expert - Commercial engineer
Experience: at least 5 years in Telco procurement
Knowledge: IT contracting and purchasing, knowledgeable of SW license management
and SW audits, software asset management (SAM) in a telco environment.
Ideally knowledgeable of Editors and products associated to telco IT.
Skills: Coaching, teaching, reporting, data collection & management, xls/sharepoint
Attitudes: Listening, problem solving, team spirit, autonomous, accurate
Languages: English (Advanced), French and Dutch are a bonus
