Description

Role: Technical Web Analyst (Conversion Optimisation & Analytics)

Location: Central London

Rate: Up to £300/day via LTD

Contract Length: 3 months rolling

Salt are working with a highly regarded Central London based Performance Marketing Agency to find a Conversion Rate Optimisation consultant, to be tasked with combining the technical delivery of high quality A/B & Multivariate tests with the setup and tagging of web analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate will be early in their Performance marketing career, with some experience of CRO testing tools (eg VWO, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Ion, etc) as well as hands on Front End coding ability using JQuery, CSS, and Javascript.

Day to day work:

  • Coding & QA of A/B & Multivariate tests. You will have a desire to find elegant solutions using HTML, CSS & JavaScript to manipulate the Front End to produce alternative web experiences that are implemented seamlessly and can be confidently measured.
  • Establishing measurement framework & set up using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager and other analytics platforms. You'll be responsible for implementing web analytics setups from scratch and auditing current setups in order to recommend and implement changes that will provide our clients with a deeper and more accurate understanding of how their sites are performing.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure projects are in line with client expectations and will deliver reliable data to drive decision making.
  • Join status calls with clients to ensure momentum on their analytics & testing plans.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Frontend coding ability (JavaScript, HTML &CSS). A significant part of the role includes setting up A/B tests & tagging websites accurately, so you'll need to be committed to developing these skills.
  • Some experience with Google Analytics setup & reporting (tagging, configuration in the GA interface etc.) along with a sound understanding of key web metrics and factors affecting conversion rates.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for creatively improving the web experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience of Tag Management tools eg Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools eg Optimizely, VWO and using statistical models to determine the significance of observed results.
  • Interest in web design & experience of popular packages (eg Photoshop)
  • Experience of customer journey modelling, behavioural economics and awareness of other digital disciplines (SEO, PPC, Display etc.) a plus.
