The job:
You will be reporting to the Manager of the TA Change Management Team, your main role will be to ensure Transfer Agency is operationally ready and compliant with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) .You will work with the Global Project Team representing the Ireland TA Team on all aspects of the project
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the TA Operational Readiness Work Stream, from gathering requirements through to sign off.
- Identify the gaps in the current operating model with appointed TA Department GDPR champions to collate the necessary data
- Responsible for implementing new processes and procedures to meet the GDPR requirements.
- Required to work independently with support from TA functions
- Responsible for identifying the resource requirements across the Transfer Agency department as appropriate
- Ensure all required developments, enhancements and/or set ups are completed on a timely basis.
- Ensure clients are being offered and understand standard TA services and that anything requested/required outside of this is addressed appropriately.
- Attend internal and external client meetings to provide input and assistance ensuring completion of the project.
- Stakeholder management and communication
- Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.
What you'll need:
- At least 10 years' experience in a Transfer Agency environment with Project management experience
- Funds background is highly beneficial
- Experience in GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) would be a great advantage
- Knowledge and experience within the transfer agency business specifically with TA operational experience being a large contributor
- Familiar with industry trends, trading practices and product offerings
- Experience in reviews of Legal and Regulatory documents (as they pertain to Transfer Agency), in particular Prospectus and Application Forms
- Client focus gained in a financial services company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Possess excellent interpersonal, client facing, leadership and communication skills
