People Source Consulting are currently seeking a Project Manager with experience in shipping and Logistics to take on an initial 6 month contract with a west London based ecommerce client.The successful candidate will be working on a logistics pilot program for one of the biggest names in Global ecommerce.
Your role will be to assist the program lead and wider team in order to ensure the timely launch of this project. As a pilot scheme the very nature of this project demands that your work style demonstrates both flexibility and learning agility.
This role will be focused not only on your project management skills but also your ability to liaise and communicate clearly with multi functional internal and external partners supporting this roll out.
Post launch the role will involve managing client adoption, overseeing site operations, monitoring KPI's and driving improvements with internal and external partners. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with complex data and must have experience of project management especially working with technology teams.
The successful candidate will also have managed projects within a functional team before and have experience running things on the ground. Prior logistics and carrier management experience is important in this role.
This is a hands on role, not a role for a programme/PM who manages teams.

*Experience in a logistics/supply chain role preferably within ecommerce or high street retail.
*Excellent collaborative problem-solving with a high level of maturity and judgment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills in order to be able to challenge, influence and make recommendations within the business relating to stakeholder concerns
*Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills - ability to convert complex problems into addressable solutions
*Knowledge of carriers, shipping and fulfillment solutions preferred.
*Strong relationship building, energising and influencing skills with peers and senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies

Job Requirements:
*Bachelors degree or higher
*Proven experience of building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Success collaborating and influencing diverse business partners in a highly matrixed organisation
*Organised and detail oriented with a desire to deliver excellence at all times
