EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for experienced SAS to join one of their key financial project teams, based on client site, in Edinburgh. We are seeking a SAS Analyst to join our Edinburgh operations. Holding 3-4 years' experience, we require someone passionate for Analytics and Data driven, working on financial services SAS/Analytics projects.
Essential
Extensive Financial Services/Banking exposure within a Consultancy or direct
Work with clients to understand their requirements and the business layout
Deliver projects using a range of SAS products including DI Studio, EG, Base, Visual Analytics
Complete projects in Data Analysis, Reporting, and Data Management
Work with numerous clients, most of which are in Financial Services
Good SAS Base experience, and ideally experience across a range of their analysis products (MI Reporting using SAS EG, SAS DI Studio, SAS VA, etc.)
Develop reporting/analytics skills: use what have been learnt doing BAU roles to develop own programs and processes
Confident presenting reports to stakeholders
Great communication skills
Confident delivering actionable insight and solutions
Desirable
Oracle/Informatica will be also a plus.
