For our customer we are looking for a technically savvy Credit Risk Analyst to join their analytics team for 6 months in Helsinki, Finland.
Skills required:
- Financial Credit Risk experience 5+ years experience.
- Risk Analysis experience 5+ years experience.
- Data Analysis experience 5+ years experience.
- Understanding of credit scoring methods.
- Knowledge of stress testing, credit rating, counterparty risk.
- Knowledge of various regulatory requirements (eg, Basel)
- Working knowledge of analytical tools (Excel, SQL, R, MATLAB, etc.) is desirable.
- Good command of English (spoken and written) as working language is English.

Responsibilities of the Risk Analyst
- Extract data from operative systems and data warehouse
- Full spectrum of Credit Risk functions through - Modelling, Portfolio Management, Analysis, Strategy, Collections.
- Monitor and analyze credit portfolio risk and performance
- Develop financial models related but not limited to credit and collection portfolios
- Credit Risk predictive modelling
- Define, develop and deploy best credit risk practices within the consumer finance industry.
- Provide regular reporting to the management
- Generate ad-hoc reports as requested and provide support to decision making
- (Develop Business Intelligence solutions for reporting ie automated dashboards and KPI's)
